Looking for proof for a Jess Earl Kreutzer

I have been searching to see when my grandfather had passed away. He had told us that he was going to New York where is daughter was. I do not remember her name as she wasn't talked much about. I saw where there was a J. E. Kreutzer that passed away in 27 Aug 1994 and I wanted to find out if this was him. I have his birth date and other family information to confirm if it is him or not. Any information would be greatly apprecaiated. My grandfather's name is Jess, but he went by Earl.
