Hi Linda, I disccused with you and others several years ago about Aunt Belle and was finally able to find her and how she was related to me. My search now is to find living relatives who may have stories and/or pictures of her. I am searching for a Grandniece of Aunt Belles named Jean Derose from Poughkeepsie, NY. Trying to find the connection with Simonson and Van Pelt I found a cnnection with Van Pelts and Deckers. I remember you were researching the Decker family. My GG Grandfather was Aaron Van Pelt born 1837 and married Ann Decker born 1842. There children were Claude, Furman ( who was my G Grandfather) and Anna. Anns father Abram L Decker, born 1818 was living with them at the time on the 1880 census. Are these Deckers related to you? If you or anyone have information on these families I would appreciate it so much. Thanks
