My gggggrandmother Eleanor Huff Gibbs, state in the 1855 New York state census that she was born in Rockland County. She was born on Feburary 01, 1786. I believe that Rockland co. was created in 1798. Does anyone have an idea of where she may have been born?(what would the area be called in 1786) Thanks, Barb
