Elizabeth Schwartz, 1847-1925, married Jacob E. Gross, 1848-1933, in 1868. They are the parents of 11 children. Elizabeth is a daughter of John Henry Schwartz and Mary Buchanan Henkilebauch Schwartz. Jacob is the oldest child of Conrad Gross, 1810-1873, and Anna Christine Pflainig Gross, 1817-1905 and brother of Elizabeth Gross Schultz, 1850-1931, Henry Gross, 1854-1864, Catherine Gross, 1855-1864, John Andrew Gross, 1856-1924, and Adolpus Fredrich Gross, 1858-1964. Jacob's three siblings died young in Oct 1864 from diphtheria as stated on the summary page of the 1865 state census.
Elizabeth Gross Schultz married Johann Frederich Christoph Schultz, 1849-1922, on 12Mar1869 at Germonds Church, Rockland Co, NY. They are the parents of Elizabeth Schultz Miller, 1873-1962, grandparents of Dorothy Miller Kischel, 1911-1995, and great grandparents of Doroty Kischel b1930 Daidone, Mary Kischel Wedral b1931 and Winifred Kischel b1933.
