John C. Smith was born August 26, 1782 Schraalenburgh, New Jersey and died November 9, 1848 burial in the Clausland Cemetery, Orangetown, Rockland Co., NY. He was the son of Cornelius C. Smith b. January 16, 1754 Tappan, NY and d. July 31, 1811 / Susanna Mabie b. November 9, 1753 d. May 19, 1848 they were married September 15, 1774. I do have the rest of the family back to Adriaen. I have been looking for info on John C. Smith's grandsons Charles M. Smith and George F. G. Smith who was said both moved west. I am a real distant cousin who is doing research on the whole family. Let me know if you want info.
