I am trying to locate any information I can about my great/great grandfather. He was born in St. Lawrence co. NY. His father was Canadian and mother was born in NY. We have no names but can trace him from there to working on the Erie canal to 2 enlistments in the civil war. He was mustered out in Binghamton NY and eventually came to Wayne Co. Michigan. Any help???
