PARISEAU/DURAND/RICARD/LARIVIERE

I see on the Cornwall Roots site that there are researchers who have lines of Marie Anne LAPORTE ST. GEROGES/ Joseph MOUSSEAU DESILETS and the RICARD family. (descendent lines also having OPARISEAU and DURAND)

I have been trying to find out why my ancestor Maire Amable Ricard (widow of Jean Marie Mouseesu Desilets) and her husband Francois LARIVIERE (m. 1814 in Quebec) moved to the Cornwall area before moving on to Michgan.

I know the MOUSSEAU DESILETs lines are a tangled web, but if anyone has links of any of these lines to the Corwall/ Massena area in the 1800-1850 time period, could you drop me a note?
