there are at www.nnyln.net go to historical newspapers - ogdensburg paper -a couple of articles on a charles chambers who has a bros thomas in montana and a son james of malone. there is mention of a mary (donahue)chambers, widow of a james. i am aware that these are very common names-but perhaps you can find something more substantial if u search the papers yourself?
www.fultonhistory.com is free but contributions accepted- lots of chambers there, but watch u have the correct city/newspaper
1870 lisbon st lawrence maybe yours? lots of chambers!
