Is there an index of marriages that took place in the 1830s in Saint Lawrence County?
I'm looking for the marriage of Robert Porteous and Mary Ann (surname unknown), based on information in an obituary in the Saginaw Courier Herald, Friday, 24 March 1905:
"Porteous--Mary Ann, widow of the late Robert Porteous, died at the home of her son, Cornelius Porteous at an early hour yesterday morning after a brief illness. <snip>. At the age of 18 she was united in marriage with the late Robert Porteous at Ogdensburg. The family came to Saginaw in 1868, and this city has since been their home."
