John McKinnon Grave -- died in 1880s

I'm searching for information about the burial site of my great grandfather, John McKinnon. He was married to Sarah Jane Gillan and was a Civil War veteran. John died in Massena, NY. There is a good chance he was buried in a Catholic cemetery. Would greatly appreciate any information. Thanks.
