Thanks for your reply. I don't see anything that jumps out at me that would be a connecting point between us, except for the locations being nearby and the dates being a rough fit, as you already noted. There were several Washburns, particularly in Dutchess County in the late 1700s-early 1800s.

At present, we believe Miles Washburn may have been s/o Daniel Washburn 1726-1809 m.1 Patience Washburn 1750, and m.2 Mary (Unknown). However this connection is not based on hard data. At present it does fit with what the limited data we have. We will continue to pursue this course until the facts either confirm or preclude it.

Thanks again for your reply. I will forward it to my colleagues who are also searching. Perhaps something will come up that will necessitate our further communication.
