Robert MORRISON, a physician and veteran of the Revolution having served at Fort Montgomery, was mentioned in several histories of Ulster and Orange County NY with wife Catherine WARD b. 1735 who d. 1807, buried Milton, Saratoga County NY, and his son Hugh who was b. 1868 Newburgh area, d. 1842 Saratoga County NY. Hugh (possibly also a doctor) married Huldah (unknown) perhaps in Saratoga County where they raised several children, likely: Leana/Helen b. 1797, Adeline, Almira, Hugh, Frances, and Ira Betts MORRISON. The History of the Town of Newburgh, 1790 census records, Presbyterian church records and Revolutionary pension records also confirm Robert's 2 daughters: Nancy MORRISON m. James HAWKINS, a Revolutionary veteran who was b. 1760, first enlisted 1777 in Plainfield, Windham County CT , m. 1785 Orange County NY, a carpenter, applied for pension 1826 (received it 1831?), d. 1832 Milton, Saratoga County NY. Nancy applied for and received a widow's pension in 1838. Elenor MORRISON m. Anson BRADLEY a ship's carpenter, still living in Newburgh, Orange County in 1800, with 4 children. I am searching for any descendants of these MORRISON, WARD, BRADLEY or HAWKINS families or any information connected to them or their descendants. Thanks for any help.
