Dear Leslie,
Isaac D. Potter was born in RI on 4/8/ 1786. "I rechecked and the correct date is 4/8/ 1786" He became a shoemaker and settled in Saratoga County. He died 12/27/1876. His 2nd wife, Elizabeth 3/25/1802 was born in Rensselaer County. She was the daughter of Benajah and Sarah Bishop Brown. Mike's line comes down through Elizabeth. His first wife was Dolle Ide 1787 to 5/21/1831. Isaac had several children. He is listed in the 1820 census in Milton, Saratoga County. In 1810 he is listed in the Providence, Saratoga census. I know the towns in Saratoga kept dividing through the years. I beleive Isaac is a child of Christopher Potter.Scituate, RI. It has been interesting researching my husband's Saratoga roots. All the best. Pat
