BRITTAN/BRITTON family of Duanesburgh, Schenectady Co, NY & CA & Neb/Iowa/MT

Daniel BRITTAN and his wife Charlotte lived in Dansville, Livingstion Co, NY on 1850 and 1860 censuses. By 1880 census his widow, Charlotte is living in Duanesburgh, Schenectady with her family nearby: Lewis/Louis M born about 1856 and he weds Augusta Amanda SNELL; Joseph Eugene -- born about 1859 (who moves to Nebraska, then Iowa) and James (born circa 1858)who stays in NY. Their sisters Anna (born about 1845) and Eliza (born about 1852) stay in NY as well.
Daniel BRITTAN was a brother to John Wesley BRITTAN who moved to CA. His (John W.'s) will of 1872 left Duanesburgh land to Daniel.
