John Christina is a son of Catherine (Katie) Meehan and Lewis Christina.
I’m a Meehan. My great grandfather was Katie’s uncle.
Katie (1877-?) was born in Jermyn or Mayfield, PA, daughter of John Meehan (1843-1923) and Bridget Wynne (1849-1914). Lewis was born in Switzerland, son of John Christina and Marie (?), and came to the USA in 1887. He and Katie were married about 1906 or 1907.
Their oldest son John was born about 1908. According to information I recently received, John Christina married Sylvia. Her last name might have been Telban. John and Sylvia Christina first lived in Forest City, Susquehanna County, PA, and later moved to Schenectady.
As part of my Meehan family research, I would appreciate being contacted by any descendants of John and Sylvia Christina, to discuss the family relationship.
