I am looking for information on Peter Margeson b. 1717 in NYC. On 13 May 1762 Peter enlisted in Captain Vischer's Brigade, listing his occupation as carpenter (name written Peter Marjeson). Peter was a loyalist, and in 1776 was on a list of prisoners sent to other states from New York, possible Massachusetts. He married Catherine Carstang 5 Aug 1742 in NYC, but his 1762 muster roll puts him in the Albany/Schenectady area where I think he may have had a son, Peter. Any information, no matter how small, greatly appreciated.
