Hi Merrie Anne,
Thanks for taking the time to check out my message. I've already followed the line of Abigail thorn in Princeton NJ in Burlington county. That Abigail had the same month and day birthday and I thought I had her for sure but then discovered she was much older and married into the Shreve family not my Hall family. James Hall is a very common name so I have to be very thorough in checking facts. I have an open mind about Princeton NJ but so far have come to a dead end there.

No, I'm not sure about the Princetown connection but James Hall and wife Abby are listed in one of the Schenectady County census rolls and our family cemetery records in New York show they listed Tuckahoe as their residence when they bought the family plot. People in Tuckahoe have confirmed they lived there so that much I'm sure of. I have a lot of information on James himself, his parents, siblings, birthplace, occupation etc. but no personal information about Abigail beyond what the cemetery records show about her - birth and death dates - but nothing on her birthplace, parents, siblings, etc. So, since I know for sure they lived in Tuckahoe, Schenectady county in the early 1800's, I'm working my way backward from there and checking out any new information about either Princeton or Princetown that comes my way.

Thanks again, Merrie Anne,
Lorraine
