MIDDLEBURGH - Services were held for Jeffrey R. Beretz, 6, of Huntersland Road, Middleburgh [NY], who died as the result of a drowning accident on Saturday, May 6.
Born in Cobleskill [NY] on April 17, 1983, he was a kindergarten student at the Middleburgh Central School.
He is survived by his mother, Janet Parsons; his father Joseph Beretz; a sister, Julia Sarah Beretz; three brothers, Joseph, Jerry and James Beretz; and his maternal grandparents, Robert and Doris Parsons, all of Middleburgh.
The 11 a.m. Memorial Service was held at the Middleburgh Reformed Church with the Rev. Paul Ferenczy officiating. Arrangements were by the Palmer and Shaylor Funeral Home, 63 River Street, Middleburgh.
