I am researching the family of James/Abagail Maxwell from Havana/Catherine area. They had 9 children and Mr. Maxwell died very young. John & Albert Maxwell served in the Civil War and were in the 89th Infantry. John Maxwell married my ggreatgrandmother, Mary Black. They had a son Charles A. Maxwell. John did not die in the war but Mary is listed on the Civil War pension list. She remarried John Adey from Hazleton, Pa area. Any information would be appreciated.
