Looking for information on Captain Andrew McDowell who died after he made his will on January 1, 1850 in Reading, Steuben County, New York. His wife was Sarah who died March 10, 1851 also in Reading at age 72 years. Both are buried in the County Line Cemetery in Reading. They had the following children:
i.TEMPERANCE MCDOWELL, b. May 13, 1804, Probably Tioga County, New York; d. September 11, 1841, Dix, Schuyler County, New York; m. Squire Griswold b. August 17, 1798 Fort Ann, Washington County, New York d. February 24, 1880 Dix, Schuyler County, New York.
ii.POLLY MCDOWELL, b. Abt. 1802, Near Elmira, New York; d. January 13, 1878, Lone Rock, Buena Vista, Richland County, Wisconsin; m. Lucius Tracy b. abt. 1797 Vermont d. April 06, 1854 Lone Rock, Buena Vista, Richland County, Wisconsin.
