Looking for information on Hannah Crissey born May 2, 1851 to Alexander and Elizabeth Crissey in Rochester, Ulster, NY. She was listed on the 1855 state census with her parents. She was their youngest daughter. I believe she is the Hannah Crissie age 19 listed with John and Hannah Curry and their son Joseph in Neversink, Sullivan, NY on the 1870 census and the Hanah Criss age 27 listed with John Curry a widower and his son Joseph in Neversink, Sullivan on the 1880 census.
In 1900 I could not find her or John Curry although at 91 he was probably dead. I found two listings for Joseph Curry. Both age 50 and born in June but one was born 1850 and living with John Bookel as a laborer and the other was born 1849 and living with Hull Rosecrane as a laborer. Both of the people’s names he is shown living with are as indexed. The two listing are three pages apart in Neversink, Sullivan, NY. He may have been working for both people. In both cases the marital status could be an M or a W but there is no entry in the years married column nor a wife listed. The reason I mention Joseph in 1900 is after having lived together 10+ years he and Hannah may have married and she died. Or she may have moved out and married someone else or died. I don’t know.
