I, too, am a g-g-g-g-g-g- granddaughter of Captain Abner Seelye (Continuation on Captain Abner Seelye from further down this NY Forum) I have the line of family names up to the present through one of his sons, Abner, to grandson Abner, to great grandson Horace Burr Seeley, to g-g-granddauhter Abbelena (Abbie) Seeley, to g-g-g-grandson Eugene Justice Walters, to g-g-g-g-grandson Arthur Eugene Walters, to g-g-g-g-g-granddaughter Abbie E Walters Bilyard, to me g-g-g-g-g-g-granddaughter Lynn Bilyard Bogard. The other direction, I have the ancestors of Abner Seelye via Rose family, Crippen family, Fuller family (of Robert Fuller - Mayflower) Contact me if you want details. I love the historic aspect of who fought in what wars, and am really interested in where this line lived before arriving in North America. Recently, on the genealogy.com forums, I discovered that some Seeleys went to Canada. We didn't have that information before. Anyone with information on the family roots in Europe????
