I am looking for decendents of William Slate. I have a tin photo that I believe to be him but have no definate proof. I have a photo of his son but that is about it. The William Slate that I am talking abouts Children were Catherine, Eliza, Eleanor Amanda, ?, ?, Edgar Darwin, Nelson, Daniel, Judson, Levi, Alphonso Washington, Lydia Maria, Olive, Evilene and Francis Marion. He had three wifes Elenor Shulenburg, Lydia Olney, Phoebe Slosson. I alot of info on his line so if you have any ques. I just might have the answer. Agian they were from the Candor, Tioga County New York area. William is said to have spent his childhood in New Jersey. The web link to the photo is below.
