I am trying to find out if more information is possible through any available military records for the Oscar JORDEN, found in the cemetery records for Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor, Tioga Co., New York: 109th N.Y.S.V., d. 1869, ae. 44y.[b. abt. 1825]"
and in History of Tioga, Chemung Tompkins, pg. 159:
"Oscar Jordan, private, 109th Regt., Co. K; enl. Aug 1862; three years."
It looks like this Oscar [b. abt. 1825]is the father, of my gr-grandfather, *Oscar Jordan [b. abt 1852] who m. *Phoebe Ann Robi(n)son. Also, I am trying to determine if he is the same person as the S.O. (and Oscar) Jordan mentioned in the 1860 (and 1850) Tioga census as in the resonse to a previous posting as below:

[Note: This *Oscar would have been b. abt. 1852, so quite possibly fits that S.O. and Cordelia are his parents. Also, seems quite possible that Steven and Melinda Jordon are parents of S.O., <Steven Oscar> Jordan]
