I'm looking for the death place of my ancestor, Mary Colegrove Sparks.
Family lore from two sides says she was tomahawked, and I have reason to believe that Tioga CO may have been the place. It would have bee between 1814-1826, and more likely before 1820.
Can anyone tell me about such incidents within Tioga Co.?
