I have a Bridget (maiden DUNN) MAHER in my line who lived in Saugerties and was the wife of Thomas MAHER. They married ca 1861-62 and she died in 1871. Both she and Thomas are buried at St. Mary's of the Snow catholic church in Saugerties.

While I don't have a KENNY or RICE (nor Bourke) in my research lines, I do wonder if this Bridget MAHER might have been the godmother you mention.

Do you have further information on the MAHER connection?
