Oh my goodness, Pat. You are amazing. I can't believe you came up with all that considering I swear I spent hours looking on the internet for information last night and then again today after getting the first bit of information you sent. I went to the sites you mentioned and came upon deadends. I can't understand how you came up with all of that. It truly blows me away.

I had called my friend earlier to tell her what you found and we went thru what she knew about the Wood family with what you found and she was delighted to get more information. Now I'll have to call her back to tell her that Nathan Carman was related to the Wood family and they didn't have his diary for no apparent reason.

My friend who inherited the house is not blood related to the family and has entrusted me to sell off many of the things found in the home. I'm going to list the diaries and the ambrotype of Lysinia Wood with Myron's possessions on ebay. In the past, I've sold things that had come from Ulster County and the people who bought them were delighted to receive them so I have no doubt these things will find their way into the hands of people who are directly linked to them.

Thanks so much, Pat, for all your help. There is no way I would have solved this mystery and learned everything I did without your help.
