I am looking for the parents of Lana/Lena/Magdelena Snyder, b.1789, died 21 Sept 1863, married to Nicholas Shultis. She and Nicholas are buried in Woodstock Cemetery, Woodstock NY. I think her father may have been named George, as one of their sons was named George Snyder Shultis. I have found 2 possible candidates:
George Snyder b. abt 1760 in Dutchess, NY, married in 1780 to Hannah Crandell in Dutchess County. George was the son of Johannes Jost Snyder b. Germany and Anna Magdalena Elisabetha Flagler b. in West Camp Ulster NY.
The other is an entry I found on Family Search for Magdelena Snyder b. 1789 in W Copake, Columbia County, dau. of Dederick Snyder and Annatje V Waggener.
Any info appreciated
