I'm looking for a link between the Gillespie and Grant families of Kerhonkson/Wawarsing, Ulster, NY around 1875-1880. Joseph D Gillespie and Hellena (Schoonmaker)Gillespie married on 24 Feb. 1853 at the First Dutch Reformed Church in Rochester, Ulster, NY. They had three children; Cyrus (b. 1854), Josephine (b. 1856), Tamarett (b. 1858, ? spelling per 1860 census). One of the girls married a Grant and produced at least one child, Don Irving Grant, who was living with his grandparents, the Gillespie's in 1900. I'm stuck in finding Don Irving Grant's parents. Can anyone help find which Gillespie girl married a Grant and what his name was? Any other Grant information would be very helpful.
