Ebenezer Gere in Wawarsing and Rochester, 1797-1815+

My ancestor Ebenezer Gere was enumerated in the 1800 census in Rochester, Ulster Co NY and was elected one of the 6 School Inspectors in Wawarsing in 1813 (see Wawarsing.net, May 2006, page 6). I have another bit of information (unfortunately without a source) that says Ebenezer "taught in 1798-9 in Wawarsing, Ulster Co., NY with his oldest 4 children among his students." Further linkage to Ulster Co, is that in the 1855 NY Census, three of his children, born 1798, 1807 and 1810, said they were born in Ulster Co. NY. I would like to extablish any other information about his stay in Ulster County and if possible the birth of his children there. In 1794 he lived in Groton CT and in 1830 he was enumerated in Auburn, Cayuga Co. NY, so that gives the endpoints on his tenure in Ulster County. I would very much appreciate any help that anyone can provide and will reimburse any costs incurred. Thank you.
