From The Post-Star: Nelson M. Ormsby, 60, of Hallmark Nursing Center d. at Glens Falls Hospital 31 Dec. 1996. He was b. Glens Falls 8 Nov. 1936 to Frank and Rose (Pixley) Ormsby. He worked from 1973 to 1992 at Warren Exchange/Warren Furniture in Glens Falls. He enjoyed Adirondack fishing, puzzles, painting and smoking his pipe. He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters and survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Mary Beth) Broeren of Long Beach CA and Michelle King of Glens Falls; three sons, Brian, David and Scott Ormsby, all of Glens Falls; two brothers, George Ormsby of Baltimore MD and Martin Ormsby of Gardner MA, sister Ethel Losaw of Fort Edward; two stepbrothers, Roy Blackmer of Queensbury and John Blackmer of Gansevoort, and five grandchildren: William and Amy King of Glens Falls, Daniel Ormsby 2nd and Kaena Morris of Fort Edward and Tiaisha Hill of Glens Falls. He was bur. in Glens Falls Cem.
