From 1887 account of train accident in The Fort Edward Advertiser: "The marriage of William H. Lyle and Miss Ella Bullard occurred about four years ago. Previous to his marriage, Mr. Lyle lived at Sandy Hill and followed the business of a painter. His parents and one brother now reside at that place. After the wedding the couple moved to Lansingburgh, where Mr. Lyle has since been employed in the wagon manufactory of J. K. Pine." Sandy Hill was what is today Hudson Falls, Town of Kingsbury, in Washington County. Buried in Union Cemetery, between Hudson Falls and Fort Edward:
Henry Lyle, b. 13 May 1822; d. 3 Nov. 1900, and Mary, his wife, b. 9 Dec. 1825, d. 29 Dec. 1889. At Kingsbury [Sandy Hill] in 1880 was Henry Lyle, 58, b. Canada; wife Mary Lyle, 56, b. Canada, and children William H., 17, b. Canada, carriage painter, and Rodolf, 5, b. Canada, blacksmith apprentice.
