I am trying to find any information pertaining to the "old cheese factory" that stood on County Route 45 in North Argyle, NY (near The Hook). My dad, Lester Monroe, bought the property around 1948 and converted it to our home. I don't know who owned it prior to my father, but I believe it was vacant for a period of time.
I also would be interested in finding the history behind the "old school house" in The Hook. That was where we lived before moving into the cheese factory.
