I am looking for relatives of 1st Lt. Frederick W. Langhorst, US Army Air Forces, of Yonkers, New York. He was born about 1922. His father and mother were Fred and Freda Langhorst. He had two sisters: Anna and Dorothy. He enlisted in the US Army Air Forces on July 2, 1941. He was serving as the co-pilot of a C-109 tanker aircraft when it went missing in the China-Burma-India theater of operations on July 17, 1945. He and the rest of his crew were declared "presumed dead" on July 18, 1946.
