"Episcopal Church," Sing Sing, New York 1830's

I am desperately trying to track down a family line that has been giving me fits for over 10 years.

A William Davies emigrated from England or Wales sometime between Feb 1831 and Oct 1833. We know this from a family Bible - his eldest son, William was born in Wolverhampton 1831, and daughter Emma Sophia Davies was born at Albany 1833.

William's son, George, was born Aug 20, 1837, and "baptised at the Episcopal Church, Sing Sing.

Can anyone tell me anything about this church - its name, whether it still exists and whether there is any chance of recovering a Baptismal record?

Any help would be deeply appreciated! :)
