Still trying to find out where and when my Great Aunt died.
Received this email from a librarian in Syracuse:
We found it in the NYS Death index:
Anna Canning, 7 November 1916, document #70769
No idea what State she died in, as that is all the information that is given unfortunately.
Would any kind person be in a position to possibly look up this document for me so I can check it is the correct one before I go ahead and order it. Living in Scotland I don't want to start having to convert pounds to dollars only to find out it is the wrong document. I have my Great Aunts birth certificate so if the date of birth and parents names are needed for verification I can provide same.
