1782 mtg.Deed, Salem co,NJ Jacob Housman to Isaac Oakford

Jacob Housman and Mary his wife, Mortgagors to Isaac Oakford, mortgagee
For all that Plantation or Tract of Land lying and being in the Township of Upper Alloways Creek and County of Salem
where on the said Isaac Oakford now dwells,being composed of two pieces or parcels which the said Jacob
Housman purchased of the said Isaac Oakford containing two hundred and fifty nine acres of Land and one as follows,
viz:the first the said Isaac Purchased of the West New Jersey society containing Two hundred and Fifty two acres and
a half, the other piece containing six acres and a half which the said isaac purchased of his father Wade Samuel
Oakford.
Mortgage Deed dated August 16th 1782 and acknowledged the same day before John Holme, Esqr.
The Principal Sum Nine Hundred Pounds Gold or Silver Money Payable as follows:
£200 The 16th day of November next
£350 the 15th of May Following
£350 the 15th of May 1784 together with lawful Interest agreeable to the Obligations.
Mortgage Deed was brought to the Office and Recorded the 10th day of February 1783 by Jacob Tagart, Clerk
