Deanna--Your email provider bounced my message again. The message states "550 5.7.1 This system is configured to reject mail from host-150.subnet-93.med.umich.edu". No problems receiving your email however.
Do you want to try my backup account? It's saoakman@yahoo.com

Anyway--I had also found Beverly Barnett's info last year, and note that my name is entered in that database.
There is a whole generation of Roy Willis Oakman great-grandkids to add in (12 at present count!) but the rest is consistent with what I had from my great-aunt Mary Lorene Oakman. Mary passed on a lot of info for us while she was living, and was probably the ultimate source some info which made it into Ruby's paper. My dad has a family Bible (also passed from Mary) that appears to have been Sibbie Thompson's, so it has hand written names & dates of both John Wesley and Wm. Alexander's family information. We also have a farm ledger book that appears to have belonged to William pre-Civil War. There must have been an interesting story in the move of these two younger brothers to Missouri and going on to join the Confederate Army!

Do you use Family Tree Maker? I am about ready to start getting serious about this. If I can get the Bible from my dad, I think I should get this stuff scanned in ASAP before anything happens to it!

I'll look forward to being able to access your website.

Scott.
