All I have on Felix "Fiel" O'Banion: b.Feb 1847, Cumberland Co, KY to Alfred O'Banion and Elizabeth Ann Collins. Alfred (1812-1881) descends from William (4), James (3), John (2), Bryant (1) (the pioneer from Ireland). Alfred and Elizabeth had six children: John Thomas, James Elbert, Cornelia, Felix, Lucarnia, and William Preston. Felix married either on 21 Aug 1865 in Lawrence Co, MO or on 31 Mar 1865 in Greene Co, MO to Minerva C. Dorrell, b.abt 1851 in Greene Co, MO. (Minerva was sister to Rhoda Dorrell, second wife of Felix's oldest brother Tom). Felix and Minverva divorced between 1880 and 1899, because, according to what I had, in 1899 Felix married a Mary L. [LNU]. in Aurora, Lawrence Co, MO. I see by your message the 2nd wife was Mary Lou (Seburn) McKinley, and they married in 1909, not 1899. Did Felix die in Monett, which is in Barry Co, MO? Alfred's first wife, and Felix's mother, died about 1852 because in 1853 Alfred married Elizabeth's younger sister, Nancy Jane (Collins) Lisle, widow of Greene Lisle, by whom Nancy had several children. Nancy had no children by Alfred O'Banion. So Felix's mother was Elizabeth Collins, not Nancy. Felix and Minerva had seven children: Andrew, William, Ebenezer, Columbus, Walter, Alfred and George. I don't know what happened to Minerva after the divorce, and I don't have much on the children except that Andrew married a Mary D. Kirk on 18 Dec 1883 in Lawrence Co, MO and Ebenezer married an Emma Davis on 10 Apr 1895 in Greene Co, MO. Obviously I may have items you don't have and you may have items I don't have. You can e-mail me direct, pobanno@rcn.com, and we can see what we can exchange. Regards. Paul O'Bannon, Vallejo, CA Notify Administrator about this message?
