Does anyone have information on who the O'Barr was that was Jesse Randolph Poe's father? Jesse was born between 1837-1840 in Jefferson County, AL. I understand that he was the illegitimate son of Mary Polly Poe and that his father was an O'Barr. One relative that died in 1983 said he had met the half brother of the O'Barr guy and his name was Sol O'Barr and he had an Uncle Finch O'Barr.
