SVAR **IS** the national archives, not just a registration office associated with the national archives.Kundtjänst means something like customer service.
You have checked well, but have you checked with the Swenson Swedish Immigration Research Center? They have a website (Google it.) but their extensive collection of records is NOT online. We need to go there to research or pay them to research for us. I have learned much about my Swedes after they came to this country using their resources and they have great information about where they were born in Sweden, etc. if they joined one of those churches.
Perhaps you can find information about marriage and death in their church marriage and funeral records. Also check out the obituaries in their microfilmed Swedish American newspapers, since those sometimes are far more detailed than the ones in English language papers.
