My mom said that Granddaddy left home at around the age of 10 with a few gold pieces given to him by his mother. Granddaddy wrote the following info in Grandmother's Bible.
Father: Ivy O'Berry
Mother: Samantha Alice Middleton
Brothers: Ivy Donnie O'Berry, Mitchel H. O'Berry, Archie C. O'Berry
Sister: Bertha E. O'Berry
My mother's name is Lucia O'Berry and her brother was Sidney O'Berry.
We do not know of any other O'Berrys ... I thought my Mom was the last one ... but would be thrilled to find out otherwise ... any additional info about this particular lineage would be greatly appreciated.
