"The father of Thomas Joseph O'Boyle is Thomas O'Boyle he was born 20 Mar 1847 in County Mayo, Ireland and died 22 Aug 1913, I think in Pensylvania, but I don't have comfirmation on this. This Thomas O'Boyle was married to Ellen Christina Glynn who was born 23 Dec 1850 in Warwichshire, England and she died 11 Mar 1911."
Thomas O'Boyle b 20 Mar 1847 in County Mayo Ire, died at the home of his daughter Mary (O'Boyle) Devine on 22 Aug 1913 Northside, Pittsburgh, PA (obit notice) -- His father was William O'Boyle b 1809 County Mayo IRE, d. 1876. His mother was Catherine Cocklan Barrot b. Ire, d. Chicago?
Thomas O'Boyle married Ellen Christina Glynn in 1870, she was the daughter of Thomas Glynn and Mary Scott. Ellen Christina (Glynn) O'Boyle also died at the home of their daughter Mary (Molly) O'Boyle Devine, Northside of Pittsburgh 11 Mar 1911 (obit).
From what I can tell the O'Boyle and Devine families were neighbors in Northside Pittsburgh. My husband and I visited the area and it seems that the stadium now stands where the family lived.
Thomas & Ellen O'Boyle had several children - Thomas, Marie (Mary, Molly), John E., William, and Ellen.
