Hi, It is great to hear from you. Do you have a source for the info on Wilson? It would be great to finally solve that question. I know my whole family is interested in any knowledge of Wilson's parents and siblings.

As far as my knowledge goes, Meley Jane Wofford's father was Nathaniel Wofford. I have some info I got off the web. The theory is that Nathaniel was married to Lydia Hopper and divorced. After he married 2 Cherokee women, a Little Flower and a Snow Comfort. Some have Little Flower as being Meley's mother. I have for Nathaniel Wofford's line as follows, Nathaniel(1766-Feb1846) son of Colonel (Rev. War) William Wofford(25 Oct 1728-1823) son of Absalom Wofford(1703-1755) son of William III Wofford(1674-1746). The sad thing is that I copied this off a website and now I can not find the webpage again ! But someone out there posted it and if you are interested I have more info on that line , some children and more placenames, etc. There is also a Wofford's settlement in Georgia that William, Benjamin and Nathaniel Wofford were a part of , this info comes from a webpage http://www.Irwma.com/historicaldocs/wofford/wofford.htm and was quoted from the daughters of the American Revolution mag vol 110, Jan 1976

Jacob Wilson O'Bryant's father was Isac(Issac) O'Bryant(b. 1821 Georgia, d. 1854 Hondo creek, Texas m. 24 Jul 1842 Saline Co Ark)) and his mother was Mary Ann Thompson(b. 19 Mar 1827 Hawkins Tenn, d. 22 Aug 1859) Their second son was Jacob Wilson O'Bryant. I have other Children as Joseph Benton O'Bryant(my g grandfather), Sarah Jane O'Bryant, and Benjamin Franklin O'Bryant. This info is from a book written by Mary Miller O'Bryant and Glenda O'Bryant Spear "170 years in Texas, 1824-1994, Crockett/Humphreys/O'Bryant Family History". Mary is a cousin of mine. If there is any more I help with please let me know.
