O'Conner/Conner/Milliken

This is all I know. My grandmother Hazel Fuller was a daughter of a woman named Conner or O'Conner and she was the black sheep of the family. Some said she married her first cousin and it caused mental illness in the family.
Hazel had one brother Mack (possibly short for Macdonald)
who died in Colorado. My Dad went to live with this O'Conner grandmother when his mother Hazel was placed in sanitarium for mental illness. By then his grandmother had remarried and was M.E. Milliken and living in Pensacola, Florida. My Dad used to call her Ma'ise. It sounds French to me. I believe my grandmother Hazel Conner or O'Conner was born in North Carolina. She died in a mental institution in either North Carolina or New York where her husband Benjamin Franklin Fuller was a railroad man. If any of this rings a bell to you. Could you help. Because my Dad's side of the family, The Fullers
did not accept her I have very little information about her. She married quite a few times. I can get a photograph of her and post it here.
