O'Days of Livingston/Erie County New York

My gggrandfather is John O'Day b. 1842 (Ireland) who lived in Buffalo, NY. Daniel O'Day b. 1868-1938 (Buffalo, NY) is my ggrandfather. There are several O'Days in Livinston County in late 19th-early 20th century, and family claims that some of these are relations, but I cannot make the connection. Any info on the Livinston County O'Days would be appreciated.
