It looks like we are researching the same Jeremiah Odle! I am researching a Jeremiah Odle b. 1776. I think he is listed in the census for Rockingham Co. NC in 1810, 1820, and 1830. He later moved to Decatur Co. TN and is listed there in the 1850 census. I don't know his wife's or parents names, but his children were Elizabeth Odle (m. Calvin Providence Spence), Thomas Odle, Ranel Jackson Odle (m. Amanda Gray Wesson), Richard Odle (m. Lucretia Dove Tippett) and Perkins Odle. This information is from "Caney Fork Kin" by F.B. Cain. I do have partial information on some of the descendants.
