You may just be the person I am looking for. My Gallagher's come from Rosbeg Donegal. Mary Gallagher married a Patrick Malloy and lived at 611 Ridge Road. Mary's brother, John, is my great great grandfather. There was a brother Michael who was naturalized in Lehigh and the person as a witness was named Amandes Gallagher. There was an Amandes living next to Patrick and Mary Maloy on the 1870 6th Ward census. In the William Allentown directory Amandus is at 601 Ridge Street. The Amandes next to the Malloys, his wife's name was Anna and he had a daughter Tarasa.
There was a Micheal Gallagher living with the O'Donnells in the 1870 census and also a Micheal Boyle. Boyle is my great great great grandmother's maiden name.
Could you give me any information on this family. I am not sure how the O'Donnell's fit in or if they are tied to my Gallagher line, but this information is intriguing.
