Lookng for Judith Anne Maheu O'Donoghue.
Daughter of Irene Loncto Maheu ... please see below:
Looking for info on IRENE LORRETTA LONCTO* MAHEU.
I have the following: Parents: Moses Loncto* and Marie Marchand
Irene was born in Massachusetts in 1907. She was the daughter of Moses Lancto * and Marie Marchand. I have a copy of the 1920 census showing
all three of them. I think she was the only child.
Irene married a John C. Maheu, MD (Sr.). They had one son named John Jr. and daughter Judith Anne Maheu O'Donoghue.
*John Jr. married Dorothy Windoloski and they had three children:
John Joseph, Dawn Marie and Amy Lynn. Lived in Milford, MA..
In March, 2000 John Jr. died.
* Judith has two children Christopher David and Karen. They lived in
Westfield, MA
I have a copy of correspondence written by Irene (in 1984) and she gave some light on my spelling of my last name.. She writes, "my father and his three sisters always spelled their name as LONCTO. My father's brothers
(Alfred and Philip) spelled it LANCTO. The church insisted on spelling it Lanctot. "
I do not know if Irene is still alive and hope that maybe her children and
or grandchildren may get in contact with me... or if anyone else has any info..
