Henry Doude's Y-DNA

I have taken a genealogy DNA test for the Y-chromosome and am hoping that I have the exact (or very close) type passed down from Henry Doude (emigrated from Kent to Guilford, CT in 1639). So far, I have not located any living male Doud/Dowd descendant of Henry's who could also have the typing done to compare results with mine ... and hopefully confirm the paper genealogy. If anybody is, or knows any direct descendant male Doud/Dowds who might be interested, Please let me know!
My Y-dna pattern falls into a larger group that has the greatest percentage the closer you get to Western Ireland, so there is a chance that we may eventually confirm that our Henry belongs to the Irish O'Dowd family ... or not related to the Irish O'Dowds at all. Testing of many with the various spellings of the surname will have to be completed to find out.
If you'd like to see info on families currently using dna for genealogy, I suggest a visit to FTDNA.com, and check out some of the family projects I'd be glad to answer questions.
Thanks.
Craig
